If you’re looking for a modern fireplace, this is a great choice. The heating gap at the top is a bit small but acceptable. However, I found that you need to set it to high temperature to start and stop it, unless I did something wrong (like 23+). There isn’t a significant difference in the flame light effects between options 1-3. Overall, it’s a neat, small unit, and delivery was quick. Assembly took about 45 minutes.

After sealing up the chimney, I urged my wife to use this. Assembly was straightforward, but installation was a bit tricky. If you secure the base plate too close to the wall, the bottom casing won’t fit. Install the casing, measure the distance from the wall, remove the bottom casing, and then install the bottom screw plate.
